D.D. is a regular on the honor roll at his high school. He put on a magnificent performance as he played a star role in the play "You Can't Take it With You" at his high school.
March 2001 - Weekend Campout to the Rock Cut State Park (earned Polar Bear Patch)

DD served as Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 374 from July 2003 to July 2004.

June 6 - June 8, 2003 - Troop 374 Campout. During the day Saturday, rafted down the Vermillion River. During the evening, the troop watched auto races at the local racetrack.

When transitioning to High School, his Middle School, in front of a very large assembly of graduating students and parents, presented DD with nearly a dozen academic, activity and social awards. He was the only student to earn the Monroe Eagle Award that year.

June 21 to 24, 2004 - Camp Big Timber - Helped train Webelos techniques and safe use of Archery and BB Gun techniques.

D.D. spent much of his 2004 summer at CFL serving as a Merit Badge Counselor.

March 12, 2005 - Two hours: Distributed bags/brochures (Scouting for Food Community Service Drive)
April 15-17, 2005 - Spent two nights with the troop at Apple River Canyon Campout in NW Illinois
April 29 - May 1, 2005 - Actively participated with the 2-night Troop 374 Reforesting campout at CFL. Helped plant 500 trees. Helped collect hundreds of large rocks that will be used to construct a new front entrance at CFL. In the process, earned the Scout Polar Bear patch.
May 7, 2005 - Served with Troop 374 for One Hour at the Kiwanis Breakfast.
May 20-22, 2005 - Spent two nights with the troop at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin
June 12 - June 18, 2005 - Sailed the Chesapeake Bay with Troop 374 in the High Adventure CHASE program.
July 9 - July 16, 2005 - Attended CFL for seven nights with Troop 374
August 5-7, 2005 - Participated in Troop 374 campout at Rainbow Council's Pathway to Eagle program.
August 2005 - Served 8 hours on AB's Eagle Project, building turtle habitats at Cosley Children's Zoo
September 11-13, 2005 - Spent two nights with the troop at the State Jamboree at the Chanute Air Force Base

May 20, 2006 - Served four hours building a fence for a not-for-profit organization as part of SP's Eagle Project.
August 4-6, 2006 - Camped two nights with Troop 374 at the Pathways to Eagle Camp in Bolingbrook. In the process, completed Art, Photography and Woodcarving Merit Badges toward his Palm.
April 20-22, 2007 - Campout at Mel's and participated in the Geotrek Program at Cave of The Mounds. Earned the Geology Merit Badge toward his next Palm.
