JR Eagle Project - Phase 3
Saturday, October 22, 2005.
The sun seemed to be attempting to peek through the clouds to see what was going on with JR and his Eagle Team today. But the clouds kept those attempts to mere glimpses. It was cool and pleasant, perfect for what JR's team accomplished today. The team spent the day digging out about six inches of earth over a huge area under and around the structure. After this phase is complete, a substantial quantity of bark will be brought in to fill the void created by the earth removed today.
During the afternoon, four beautiful pizzas showed up. JR's whole Eagle Project team greatly appreciated this unexpected surprise! The team was extremely hungry because all of the pizza disappeared quickly. Thank you!
During the afternoon a team member found a grub. On a dare (plus $23) he swallowed it.
